Most of those bands are mainstream if not here in America. It seems just because I happen to have stated a few bands that others like I should be critisized I thought this topic was all about everyones opinions. Or maybe when I said I like alt music I meant alternative to the majority or the scene.

Sorry to interject, but just because a person likes "Alternative" band X, he must also be a fan of "Alternative" bands Y and Z?
